Clean and Simple

I'm in the process of making some birthday cards, and the one I'm showing today is pretty clean and simple.

Some strong colors are used.

The text from a Norwegian birthday song

A sentiment inside the card

Space to write a personal greeting.

Paper:  White and lilac cardstock. 

Text: Stempelglede and Kort & Godt

Other: In front of the card I've used embossing stamp pad on the text, added clear utee, used heating tool and then added Distress - Aged Mahogany.

En Tag - A Tag

Today I have a tag in an envelope to show you. The inspiration for this I found over at Anne's Paperfun.  

The envelope is die cut in vellum.

On the tag I've used a template to make the butterfly.

A sweet little bouqet of flowers.

Paper:  Vellum & Manilla tag. 

Text: Kort & Godt

Embellishment: Flowers from NSS, cheesecloth, ribbon & punched leafs.

Other: Go Kreate dies, edges are distressed with Pumice Stone, 

all panels are sewn by hand, used a template from TCW to make the butterfly on the tag, it's also painted with gesso.

A wedding card - Bryllupskort

♥ Idag har jeg vært i kirken og sett et vennepar gifte seg. ♥

Det var en utrolig vakker vielse.

Når brudgommen reiser seg og synger

"Den finaste eg veit"

 i det bruden blir fulgt inn av sine brødre,

da er de fleste solgt. Ialle fall jeg.

A Christmas Card - Et Julekort

Today I actually finished a Christmas Card  - in August. And that Is very unlike me.

Again I found a Sketch over at Sketchy Colors which I've followed.

This time I've used the stunning papers from Pion. 

And some "winter" flowers.

Other:  All edges are distressed, some sewn by hand. The flowers have gotten a touch of embossing for "snow" effect.

Friend - Venn

Today I made a card for a friend who could need some cheering up.

The colors pink, white and burgundy

Sweet Mimosa is colored with distress ink and I've stamped the image twice and cut out the butterflies and glued them on to make a 3d effect.

Other: Spellbinder dies, MS around the edge punch, edges are distressed with Pumice Stone.

An easel card - Staffeli kort

Well can you imagine, I got to finish yet another card. This time it's an easel card inspired by the beach and having summer holiday. 

I found a sketch over at Sketchy Colors which I chose to follow:

So here is my easel card.

Tilda is colored with Pro/flexmarkers.

Some sand is aquired.

And lots of butterflies.
